Elegant Rose

Sunday 22 April 2012

April ,the Angel of months......

It's been a busy bee sort of week. A week of reflection also....I came upon these lovely words by _Vita Sackville- West......I'd love you to hear them too!

Perhaps its because April is so full of dazzling sunlight. Perhaps it's because the earth seems greener.Perhaps it's because resurrection is this month's signature. Is this why our spirits start to soar? Now the season of darkness diminishes as the season of Light increases in strength. In the garden, primroses violets, tulips and lilacs burst with colour. Each flower, plant and bough bears profound witness to the power of authenticity.........

I fell in Love with the words......I guess it's how I am feeling at the moment.as busy as a bee, but enjoying Living by My Own lights.......

I wanted to share with you my love of Auricula's............Such a pretty flower.......

Am sooo looking forwards to my favourite flower Lily of the valley bursting into bloom any day now!!

I have just heard the weather report for the coming week.....Aww dear brollies and wellies am afraid!!!!

I will leave you with this lovely little quote " I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds round my neck.......

Sewing a little happiness into your Sunday I hope. xxxxx

Just wanted to say a Big Thank you if you have come upon my blog and left a comment.....You are very lovely!!!!
