~ And Just Because....

~" The month of May casts her magic spell as spring's promise is finally fulfilled"....

Let all thy joys be as the month of May...

~And just because this week has been one of cleaning, puttering and sweeping my rooms with a smile...
I am soo good at this.....

~ And finding a little past treasure too.....

~ Don't be alarmed by Cindy here..

although sitting here in the  'all- together um '....

A little disrespectful for a vintage gal, I know....

hehe...

But I think you can see quite clearly she is a little bit special...

she belongs to my sister and I....

~ and I can only imagine we must have had a wash day....with her clothes...

And the rest is history!

Cindy, must be over fifty years old......
~ and I am thinking, I simply must make her some clothes!

~ I even found an old photograph of big sister cuddling dear, Cindy!

I have 'basket envy'....

~ And just because...once you start looking for past magic memories, within your self...

~ you very often find them.....

 ~ You might just be lucky enough to find treasure, in your own back yard, so to speak...

~ And just because of the kindness of friends...

~ Or even that the sun shined so wonderfully this week...

I even took my house plants out side with me, to enjoy the warmth.....

(crazy but true)

~ And was joined by others....

Smokey, here.... joined me for play times in the sunshine....

 ~ there was my first sighting of a beautiful king George, butterfly, which landed on me...

~ and a naughty, cheeky, seagull pooped on me....

hehe.....now that must be lucky!

~ And just because..... I found a delightful new book....

'Trugs, Dibbers, Trowels and Twine'...By Isobel Carlson...

~ all about the lores of our gardens....

~ Which made me smile...

The Talmud tells us that "Each blade of grass has it's very own Angel that bends over it and whispers low," Grow, Grow, and grow some more"....

~ And so do we....

~ Summer in a vase.... beautiful Stocks!
They cheer up any room....

~This month we rediscover that it is life's enrichments rather than the riches of life that bring us true contentment.... 

~ And just because May is here.....my favourite month!

~ You would have needed your Rosey Tinted Spectacles to see the 'full pink moon' last evening....

I wore mine all day....

~ and little 'Larry' here was born....

Under the April full pink moon...

I think you can just see the pink glow about him...

~ His Mummy just managed to give him the gift of life and is still quite poorly...

He belongs to my lovely sister law, and lives on her small farm, close by me....

He is safe and warm by her open fire on a blanket of soft pink wool...

~ He is quite possibly a very lucky lamb indeed.....

~ I think you can guess the sheer size of him compared to Patrick's hand here..

A little guy, just new to the world....

~ and missing his mummy terribly!

~ He is being fed by bottle every few hours....

It's a wonderful world....
Don't you think ?

~ And I think I may just be in love........

For those who follow the moon cycles, like me....

You will be aware we have the full pink moon this week.

This moon marks the appearance of pink ground Phlox, an early pink flower...

The amount of hope in the air during a full pink moon makes it the best time to ask some one to marry....

Pink for as long as I can remember has been my favourite colour!

~ and because we have the full pink moon this week, I thought my post would simply be a post of  giddy pink thoughts and of course pink pretty pictures.......

I would have the world made up of all the shades.......

~ Pink for me is feelings of comfort, happiness and love...
I always add a dash here and there....
Let's just face it...... Pink ....just makes the world go around!!

~ A favourite basket of mine along with my crocheting that never ever seems to grow....
