Twinkles *~* * ~ *

Thought for the day.
"We are all Stars and we all
deserve too Twinkle"..
*****
(Marilyn Munroe)

Its no big secret that I've lost some
Twinkles recently..
I guess I've put them down some where
in a haste of a rush...
~
And
I've simply
for gotten to pick them up some how..
Twinkles
I believe add a little dash to any little blog
post and a little magic to ones day!

Twinkles make your days sparkle...

~ With the prettiest of lights...

They also make you feel grounded and safe
and ready to take on all of life's little hiccups.....

Each day before leaving my little place called home
I ask for my 'Twinkles' to be switched on..
It's a kind of a 'spiritual electricity that
just can't be seen...
And it really, really works you know!
They send you on a yellow brick
road that leads to your very own Kansas city!

Ooh yes, Dorothy knew all about Twinkles..
didn't she just...

~ Yesterday I chatted all about twinkles
with a friend of the sparkle ~ est kind...
She'd sadly lost her twinkly lights that day too..
We both agreed that living with out magical powers in our days
could be just a little flat and more than a little dissatisfying..
In fact living with out your own lights is a kin to dressing up
in the dark, eating boring meals and decorating your rooms
in the dreariest colours on offer!

Tomorrow I will remember to switch on the power button, before
I start my day....
Most important...
I'll walk through my park and send out positive thoughts
for the grandest of days....
I will give gratitude, which after all is the hearts
memory for all that I have that is good!
WOW!
I'm feeling much more twinkly already!!
Wishing you all a day that is of the
grandest kind!
Do what makes your heart smile ...
And I will be back again, next week with of course more
Twinkles..

Maria.

Afterword...
This post is dedicated to a very sparkly friend!!
I'm a wishing us both to find those  twinkles very soon.....

Jumping Right Back In......

Yum ~ yum...
( Out first ice cream of the year)
We've been jolly lucky over the Easter break
to have something planned on each and every day with family and friends..
I can't for the life of me think of a Easter so
busy and where Mr sunshine was out
to bask from morning till almost bedtime here in the
rainy North West...
I'm a hoping he was just as kind to you all and Easter time
was a happy old time..

I'd mentioned in an earlier postie
that all my chicks were home to nest and rest..
Always the nicest feeling in the world for any Mama!
On Saturday after work...
We spent a wonderful evening here together..

Where Miss Olivia played her guitar under the twinkly lights...
With tunes from Laura Marling, and monsters and Men...

It's kinda special to listen to live music..
~ outside under the starry skies don't you think?

I for one could have sat there all evening!..
I did have a cosy warm throw and a cup of hot chocolate,
to keep me company..
Bliss..

Monday was very lovely too!
We were invited to a garden party that lasted till sun down....
A perfect ending to a lovely chilled long weekend...
Well, all's well that ends well...
and it's almost another week over with once again..
Phew time most certainly flies...

Today we have those pesky little April showers, so very suited to the
month it's self..
And if I'm honest I'm all partied out!
hehe..
It's been a day for catching up with chores and popping in
on you all..

Ooh and I just couldn't resist showing you this little guy!
This is little Merlin.
I wish I could say he belongs to me...
But with four little furry friends already
we have no more room left in our inn...
~
He came home to live with my brother and his wife
and has made them smile once more!
( Frankie their beautiful black and white kittie was poisoned three weeks ago)
We are unsure by what and who.
He was only a youngster of two.
Little Merlin couldn't and wouldn't replace their love for Frankie, but he comes complete
with his own special love..
And that I believe is what life's all about......
Jumping right back in
and giving another poor little mite
a chance kinda helps heal the pain of loss....
Don't you think?
It's big smiles all round....
I'm wishing him a long life full to the brim of kittie
days spent capturing butterflies and dreaming kittie day~ dreams....
'Purfect'.

Awww!
( Look at those paws)
Take time to dream...
Hugs Maria x

Mr Easter Bunny..x

The full pink moon.
"This full moon marks the appearance of pink
ground phlox, an early spring flower.
The amount of hope in the air
during a full pink moon makes it the best time
to ask some one to marry you".
Taken with kindness.
From
The girl who chased the moon.

For those, like me who simply love to follow the moon cycles.
we have the full pink moon this evening!
I hope she lights the skies with her soft warm glows....
And our hearts also.
Thank you for all the kind wishes in my last little post, too!
I've gathered them up to keep for always..

I'm preparing my little house today for Easter time..
and I would simply love to admit that I made this delightful Victoria sponge..
BUT
it would only be a
 Little  ~ White ~ Lie..
Ha ha
..Those that know me well may know my culinary delights do not amount to this..
No matter.
All is well.

Here's hoping the Easter Bunny comes a hop ~ hop ~ hopping by this weekend!
His visit is awaited with much anticipation!!
Dark chocolate for me, please and thank you, Mr Bunny!

I've said it before and I will say it again..
"I simply LOVE Easter time and all it's rituals"..

Tomorrow Dean is home, which is lovely...
His last visit was Christmas..
( far to long ago)
We also have a friends wedding tomorrow.
~
Seems perfect to be marrying around the full pink moon, me thinks..

Mr sunshine has his very lovely Easter bonnet on today and the weather is set
to be warm over the Spring time break..
Let's jolly well hope it keeps it's promise!
I am thinking Easter is just that little bit nicer this year,
 being later than normal...

Above.
Miss Olivia made this very healthy chocolate brown ~y cake, today.
It's from the Anita Bean recipe book....
No needs what's so ever to feel any pang of guilt at all.
I am a thinking this will not hang a round for to long!

I'm wondering how Easter is shaping up for you all?
Will you be rolling those paste eggs, with your little off springs..
I do hope so..

A small confession, I am posting today still
in my PJ's..
Please don't tell a soul.
I have lot's and lots that I really  should be doing.....
So I will close for now.
Wishing you all the blessings of Easter time.
And do sleep tight under the
full pink moon.
hugs and Twinkles

to Easter!
