I hope she lights the skies with her soft warm glows....

I've gathered them up to keep for always..

I'm preparing my little house today for Easter time..

and I would simply love to admit that I made this delightful Victoria sponge..

BUT 

it would only be a

 Little  ~ White ~ Lie..

Ha ha

..Those that know me well may know my culinary delights do not amount to this..

No matter.

All is well.

Here's hoping the Easter Bunny comes a hop ~ hop ~ hopping by this weekend!

His visit is awaited with much anticipation!!

I've said it before and I will say it again..

"I simply LOVE Easter time and all it's rituals"..

Tomorrow Dean is home, which is lovely...

His last visit was Christmas..

( far to long ago)

We also have a friends wedding tomorrow.

Seems perfect to be marrying around the full pink moon, me thinks..

Mr sunshine has his very lovely Easter bonnet on today and the weather is set

to be warm over the Spring time break..
Let's jolly well hope it keeps it's promise!

I am thinking Easter is just that little bit nicer this year,

 being later than normal...

No needs what's so ever to feel any pang of guilt at all.

I am a thinking this will not hang a round for to long!

I'm wondering how Easter is shaping up for you all?

Will you be rolling those paste eggs, with your little off springs..

This week has been one of the nicest kinds ~

along with blowing out candles and making wishes....

Mr Rosey Tinted Spectacles 

 and I celebrated 25 years of wedded bliss!

ha ha..

 It only seems like yesterday.

Like most other young couple then..

We didn't have two pennies to rub together...

We didn't have a honey moon....

Goodness no....

We needed a washing machine much more than a fancy holiday!

Dean would be born prematurely in the August...

Busy, busy days..

I smile when I think of just how much we needed to build and feather

our nest back then....

The last three days we have spent here, to celebrate in a little more style..

The Lake side hotel on lake Windermere...

This beautiful picture of the hotel from many moons ago was displayed in our room.

Then...

And now...

A beautiful retreat with the most stunning views...

This weekend we will celebrate with closest family and friends..

Small but so very special..

A Mish ~ Mash Of Lovely Things...

My Saturday was ever so busy in Bumble Bee...

with little visitors delighting in choosing a special gift 

for their lovely Mama's..

In the afternoon tea and scones were served in 
the prettiest china cups, to all that 

 should happen to come through 

the doors..
We were busy little bee's
But the day was special.

I'm a hoping you were all
utterly spoilt rotten on the day it's self!
hehe!
Mr Rosey Tinted Spectacles and I took a walk 
to see all the baby lambies, new to this beautiful world..
( my most favourite walk at this time of year)
I wanted to bring them all home!

I still have 'pesky' builders here this week...
Sad but true.

and today is my day off after all
